I was lucky to find this oddity about 4 years ago at an outdoor flea market in PA: A toy gun (in cardboard) with paper athletes that shoot from it when you hold it just so and snap your wrist forward. I can't imagine ANY church today (Baptist or otherwise) using a toy gun to promote itself to youthful parishoners.
Long before the furor over cartoon violence, violent toys and simulated weapons, there was the wholesome and harmless Targette to gun of the 1940s.
