Some teen tales from my book collection: Incendiary, alarmist or just plain encouraging. By the late 1960s, Dear Abby's 1950s platitudes on neatness for keen teens were long forgotten, giving way to cautionary tales of drug culture downers. It was all either "a bummer", "a burn" or "a happening in a far out kinda way". Trippy, man...
